1. Purpose of the project

Capital Allocation Lab is an independent, free informational and research project. It begins as its creator’s environment for thinking about long-term investment decisions, with the aim of sharing the process and published materials openly. Access to this website does not require a paid subscription.

The project is not presented as a registered charity, investment fund, broker or team of analysts. It does not manage other people’s money, hold client funds or arrange transactions.

2. What is available now

This release provides a project introduction, an explanation of the intended research approach and a link to the Capital Allocation Lab YouTube channel. It has no accounts, payments, portfolio tools, live market data, investment signals, AI chat or downloadable research packages.

Research workflows, company files, dated datasets, model-assisted interpretation and portfolio reviews are intended directions. The roadmap is not a commitment to deliver particular features or to meet a release date.

3. Educational information and investment risk

The materials are for educational and research purposes. They are not personalised investment, legal or tax advice, an instruction to trade, or an assessment of the suitability of an investment for your circumstances. Reading the site or sending a question does not create an advisory or client relationship. The site does not execute trades.

Investing involves uncertainty and can result in the loss of some or all of the capital invested. Prices, income, liquidity, interest rates and currency movements can affect outcomes. A valuation range, scenario or research hypothesis is not a guaranteed result. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

You are responsible for your own decisions, checking relevant sources and considering your circumstances. Seek appropriately qualified independent advice when needed. No return or investment outcome is promised.

4. Sources, errors and changing information

Materials can contain errors, omissions, incomplete evidence or assumptions that later prove wrong. Information may change after publication, and there is no promise that every page will reflect the latest developments.

Research should be assessed in light of its question, date, sources, methodology and limitations. A conclusion may be revised, remain unconfirmed or lead to no action. Check primary sources before relying on information.

5. Availability and responsibility

The website and its materials may be corrected, changed, interrupted or withdrawn. Continuous availability, completeness, accuracy and fitness for a particular investment decision are not guaranteed.

These terms describe the limits of this informational project. They do not exclude or restrict responsibility or rights where applicable law does not permit that exclusion or restriction.

6. Using the materials and respecting others’ rights

The operator reserves the rights it holds in original Capital Allocation Lab materials, except where a particular item expressly states otherwise. This does not assert ownership of third-party sources, data or materials cited by the project.

Free access does not itself grant an open-source, Creative Commons or other licence to the website’s content. You may use materials as permitted by applicable law and any permission expressly attached to a particular item. Seek permission when your intended use requires it.

Preserve attribution, source references and material qualifications when using or quoting content. Do not present someone else’s work as your own or imply that the project endorses you, a product or an investment.

Third-party reports, datasets, images and other materials remain subject to their own rights and terms. A link or citation does not give permission to redistribute the underlying material. Any future portable research package will depend on those rights and on data availability.

7. External websites

External links take you to services operated separately from this website, including YouTube. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. The project does not control their availability, content or data processing.

A reference to a source is provided for context or verification and does not imply an endorsement or a commercial relationship.

8. Responsible use

Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, impersonate the operator or use the site to infringe another person’s rights. Do not place an unreasonable load on the service or bypass access restrictions.

Ordinary reading, linking and lawful quotation are welcome. Automated use must respect applicable law, third-party rights and the site’s technical limits.

9. Privacy

The separate Privacy Policy explains this release’s data handling. Descriptions of future features do not establish that those features are operating or collecting data.

10. Changes to these terms

The operator may revise these terms to reflect changes to the site or its operation. An approved revision will carry its own update date. Review the current version when using newly introduced materials or features.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This choice does not remove any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under another applicable law, including rights that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.

These terms do not require exclusive proceedings in a named court or impose an arbitration agreement.
